Every site starts as someone else's idea of flat. Trees, stumps, brush, old fill and wet ground all sit between you and a usable pad. Our crews handle clearing and grubbing, earthmoving and grading so the ground is true before anything else is built on it.
Skip the grubbing and roots rot under the fill. Skip the grading and water finds the low spot, usually right under your equipment or your foundation. We cut and fill to the plan, then check it, because a pad that drains wrong gets expensive fast.

Well site pads, access roads and holding ponds
We build well site pads, access roads, and holding ponds for the gas and oil industry. A gas operator needs three things on the ground before a rig shows up: a level well site pad, an access road that carries loaded trucks in every season, and holding ponds sized for the water on site. We build all three.
Soil compaction is what keeps a pad from rutting under heavy equipment. Soil stabilization and soil drying matter just as much in Southwestern Pennsylvania, where wet clay can stall a job for days. We condition the soil, then compact it in lifts.
Pond excavation and CST tank construction round out the pad. When we hit coal while digging, we handle coal removal too, so the schedule does not stop to wait on another contractor.
Retaining walls, water and sewer lines, one crew
Hillside sites need retaining walls to hold the cut. Developed sites need water line installation and sewer line installation before the first slab is poured. Because we do the earthwork and the utilities, nobody re-opens your finished grade to trench through it.
